On January 16 (or close to that), we began our long move from Philly to the South. Its hard to believe I have been living in the south for 1 year now. It seems like we just moved down. I have some mixed feelings about this. I am sad because I have been away from my real home for so lng, but I am happy I fin ally get to do stuff I couldnt up north, like ride horses. I now actually have friends, and most people down here dont judge you by your wieght. My only problem...about 60% of the people I know have never heard of or seen the nightmare before christmas:boo:

Its just weird thinking that all my live I've lived in a northern city my whole life and now I have been living in a country type area for a year. Its a little depressing.

Hey, I've moved nearly 20 times in 17 years, so just reading about your move is depressing for me. I'm STILL not all that used to our current house and we've been here for seven months now!

Sgt. Floyd... even though I moved to Florida from New York back in 1997,I know just how you feel! :sympathy:
I'm a family oriented type of person. My 2 brothers are still up in New York.My older brother is married for the second time.He has a daughter from his first marriage and his second wife is due in March with a baby girl.
Although the weather gets cold in New York (Long Island,to be exact) and I don't do well in that type of weather,I still miss my family. As I stated in another post after coming back after Christmas,my 6 year old niece has turned into a sweet kind loving little girl.

Keep your chin up Sargey. On the plus side it's good that people aren't judging you for being overweight. I'm overweight too, so I can sympathize with you. And I'm pleased you still enjoy horse-back riding. When you're used to it home is where-ever you currently are.

As for the Nightmare before Christmas, well now you can have fun inviting your new friends around to watch it with you. You do own the movie, don't you?
Just think. You'll be helping to spread the message of that film where you now live.
