The New Moppet Family - Coming soon?

Good morning Muppet Central!

Recently I've noticed a lot of people wanting to join the fabulous Moppet Family. And while on the one hand I want it to grow that way, on the other hand I am afraid that it could get out of hand, and may cause confusion to new players who a) do not know how things work in MopFam, and b) who can't keep up with it.

So...my proposel! Moppet Family: The Next Generation.

A spin-off series based on the principles of the Moppet Family (madness, puns, a lot of laughter, and family values in a Fake Sit-Com which occasionally pushes the boundries between tv-series and the actors of that series).

My idea would be to have "The Other Family Moppet."

It would be set in another town, and would involve the character called "Uncle Bob" from the Moppet Family. He is Father's brother and would be recast for the new series, and his neighbours and friends. At this point in the regular Moppet Family, Bob is a bacholar (or divorsed?) and all that is known about him is that he is Father's older brother and makes bad pancakes. He still lives in the family house.

We'd need a leader for the new series who is prepared to keep everything under control. Also, there may be occasional crossover stories where the regular MopFam characters join with the new series family...maybe not, *shrug* Also, there may be some cameo appearences from regular family members if they so choose.

This is my idea, it should keep everyone happy, those who want to join, and those who wish for the series so keep it's current cast without changes that would risk stability.

Ok, I'll wait for a few more replies and if all are in agreement, I'll post a beginning and rules, and then let you guys live it!

Hmmm... Not sure meself. Another Family Moppet? Wouldn't that get confuzzling for those of us who are in the main family thread?

Would consider taking the lead, but I've already got the Dorms and other projects to keep me busy at the moment. Like I said... Not sure.
Maybe we could have The Moppet Family, Season 2?

That way, we could keep the main cast we've already got that are still here... Recast some roles that need players... And have the room for addition in a way that'd make a bit more snse.
It'd carry over what we've already done in The Moppet Family thread, giving us the chance to start over with a clean slate... Or maybe a slightly cleaner one at least.
Just some suggestions.

Ok, I want to reiterate some stuff. No one is going to be recast in the regular Moppet Family on a matter of principle.

Also, it won't be confusing count or anyone from the old MoPfam, as that will stay exactly as it is. This will be a spinoff series with a complete new cast. Not a new season, those are all in the old MoPFam. This will be new characters, new place, new series, but related slightly to the old series.

Yeah, so would I, I've been getting into the original Moppet Family quite a bit, unfortunately it'll take forever to get caught up there, i'm only on page 28, lol. So yeah, count me in for the spin off.
