Kermit: Well, the time has come for another Muppet Show yearbook.
Bunsen: Oh, yes, lots of memories.
Sam: Including some that I'd like to forget.
Beaker: Mee mee mee mee.
Lew Zeland: It's time to get things started.
Sam: This year was just as weird as the previous years. Can't this shoiw ever be normal?
Bunsen: Maybe next year.
Beaker: Mee mee.
Kermit: Well, one interesting thing that happened this year was that Statler and Waldorf planned an opening number for one show.

(cut to Take Ten Terriffic Girls)

Lew Zeland: That was a great number, but what about the time we celebrated your birthday?

(cut to beyond the blue horizon)

Bunsen: And let's not forget about the other things that have happened.
Beaker: Mee mee mee.

(cut to The Swedish Chef: Meat Loafers, I Get Around, The Happy Wanderers, Bear on Patrol: Octopus, Love Hangover, Pigs in Space: Weight Problems, and Knees Up Mother Brown)

Scooter: And we have also had a great deal of guest stars.

(cut to a montage of Scooter introducing the following: Dudley Moore, Dyan Cannon, Christopher Reeve, Diana Ross, Phyllis George, Kenny Rogers, and Doug Henning)

Scooter: I even got to sing a song about the guest stars.

(cut to Guest Star Song, followed by Make 'Em Laugh, Rubber Band Man, and He's the Greatest Dancer)

Sam: I tried to get some decency into the show by lecturing at Muppet University, but that didn't turn out as planned.

(cut to: Muppet University, followed by Muppet Sports: Tree Staring, Muppet News: Killer Lamb, and Muppet Labs: Pet Convertor)

Bunsen: Beaker also got to sing on the show, didn't you, Beaker?
Beaker: Mee mee mee mee mee mee.

(cut to Feelings, followed by Veterinarian's Hospital: Kermit, Take a Chance on Me, Old Dog Trey, A Horse named Bill, and Fozzie's magic act)

Gonzo: I almost left the show this year, but I didn't.
Scooter: Yes, well, we are glad that you didn't leave for good.
Sam: I am not!

(cut to scenes from the Lola Falana episode)

Fozzie: You knowm this year I had rhythym.
Kermit: Uh, right, right.

Scooter: We also got to be super heroes.

Kermit: And I got to do a disco number.

(cut to Disco Frog, followed by Hound Dog, Floyd and Zoot's response to being asked how to get to carnegie hall, and Pigs in Space: Dirth Nadir)

Kermit: Speaking of that sketch, the cast of Sta Wars guest starred on our show this season.

(cut to various scenes from the Star Wars cast episode, including the cast crashing into Angus McGonacle's dressing room, C3PO telling Kermit why they are at the theater, Mark Hammil auditioning to be a guest, and the crew encountering Dirth Nadir, ending in a closing number)

Beauregard: We can also put in these photos from the awards show.
Kermit: uh, I'd rather not include any information about the Fred Awards.
Scooter: But it was a fun show.

(cut to scenes from the Phyllis George episode)

Kermit: Well, it is about time to go, but we have time for one more memory.
Lew Zeland: Actually, we have time for three more memories.
