The Muppet Show Season 4 Episode 7 - Dudley Moore
US/New York Premiere: Thursday October 25, 1979
Disney+ Premiere: Friday February 19, 2021

Electric Mayhem band members blow a gasket when Kermit replaces them with guest star Dudley Moore's "M.A.M.M.A." (Music And Mood Management Apparatus), an experimental, robotic gizmo that looks vaguely like R2-D2 and can play any style of music under the sun - until it horns in on Gonzo's latest act...with explosive consequences!

Classic episode here. The plot of workers being replaced by machines is even more relevant in 2021 than it was in 1979. Too many great skits too, from Gonzo's bomb defusing gone wrong to Fozzie's At the disco-dance comedy mashup. This is one I'd highly recommend for anyone who wants to get into the show. 10/10

Something I found odd about the "Mamma Don't Allow" number is that, while the song, being an old folk song, is often sung with different verses, it usually includes the lines:

Well we don't care what Mamma don't allow
Gonna play our music anyhow

Given the band's reaction to M.A.M.M.A you'd think they would have included that part.
