Who do you think are the hardest Muppets to draw?
Now, I like to draw, but I'm not too good with proportions. I can usually get the basics of a character, but some are harder to draw than others. I feel it's hard to draw characters with beady eyes, or similar kinds of eyes (do Bean Bunny and Bobo have beady eyes, or are those a different type). I feel it's hard to draw Bean, Bobo, Sal, and Bobby Benson's Baby Band, and most of those characters are rather simple-looking.
While I don't find it hard to draw the characters heads and faces, I find it hard to draw the patterns on Floyd's "Sgt. Pepper" outfit and Lips' outfit. It doesn't stop me from drawing those characters, though (I usually draw Floyd in his red jacket from the 1980s, and I just draw a random pattern for Lips).
It is a little hard for me to draw characters with triangular noses looking straight-on. Ditto with Louis Kazagger. But I don't find it hard to draw Gonzo looking straight-on.
I find it hard to draw a satysfiable (to me, anyway) Big Bird. Curse those feathers!
But I believe that the hardest characters for me to draw are Geri and the Attrics. Of course I pretty much only draw them if I'm drawing a picture of as many Muppets as possible. It might be easier to draw those characters if it's just them, or just one or a few, as opposed to a big crowd of Muppets, requiring me to make everybody as small as I can to fit so many characters in. Come to think of it I usually don't color when I draw, so I feel it's hard to tell some characters apart. When drawing a character, in black and white, I find it hard to make a difference between Fleet Scribbler and the Solid Foam drummer, or Hilda and Gladys. And it's a little hard to draw a difference between Mr. Johnson and Waldorf (good thing one of them has eyebrows and the other doesn't).
