Everyone who knows Jim Henson, knows him best as a puppeteer, but what many don't know, is that his real dream was to make movies. He made The Great Muppet Caper, but he also made The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth, which are two fantasy films. Now, does anyone else here, besides me think that Jim had the talent to make movies outside of The Muppets and Creature Shop fantasy films? I think like, Frank Oz, he could done a good job branching out in other genres, such as comedy and drama. your thoughts?

) would prevent him from just doing something that didn't require some cool new film tech. Based on that vid on youtube, he may have been thinking about the reality-show/documentary/whatever approach. Based on what happens on the vid after his intro, it seems pretty clear to me (and I guess this is one of those hindsight criticisms, since we're awash with that kind of stuff now) that he was more fascinated in the idea of personal videomaking than in the story itself.
