Ch. 1
The house is quiet, everyone is sleeping, and the city is quiet. Not one car has drove by the whole day or even a week now. Kermit woke up early and went to the kichen to grab some coffee. Everything is weird and nobody has a clue what's going on. The wholw house is dark, not one light is on. Not even Rizzo's night light. Then, he heard footsteps creeping through the living room and into the kichen. "What's going on?" Piggy asked. "Is everyone dead outside here?" He walked to her and rubbed her arm. "I don't know." he said. "Maybe, everyone is." They walked out of the kichen and walked into the living room. "Listen, I'm gonna go to town later and see what's up." she said. "No, you're not." he retorted. "Look, not one car drove by all week, school's been cancelled for a week now, and no one knows what's going on. It's best if you stay here." "I'm not a chil-" "WHAT ABOUT CALLIE AND KEVIN?" he asked. "HOW WILL THEY REACT WHEN I HAVE TO TELL THEM THAT THEIR MOM IS DEAD?!" "I'M A GRWON UP!" she told him. "I CAN'T TAKE IT...BEING TREATED LIKE A CHILD!" "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" he retorted. "I CAN'T LET YOU AND I WON'T, AND IF YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH IT, I'LL BE ALL OVER THE **** PLACE, LOCKING YOU IN!" He walked away, leaving her alone. "WHAT ABOUT THE OTHERS!" she screamed. "OH, THEY CAN LEAVE, BUT YOU CAN'T!" he screamed.
Kermit got done locking all the doors and sat by her. "Piggy." he said. Nothing. "Listen, I'm not trying to keep you away from out there." he said. "Fine." she said, pulling the papers to her face. "Talk." "It's kinda hard to talk to you when you have that in front of your face." he told her, holding her hand. "An earthquake hit Iwoa last week and my grea-aunt died. That's why I want you stay inside. I know that you're ticked off at me and you have the right to be, but all I want you to do is to understand and listen." "You're saying that I don't listen?" she asked. "No." he retorted. "I'm so worried about you. You're not eating, you're losing weight, your acting strange, and you're not talking. Tell me what's wrong." "Nothing's wrong-" "Explain the weight loss." he suggested. Fozzie and Riley walked down. "What's going on?" he asked. "None of your beeswax." Kermit replied. "Well, Callie passed out." Riley told them. Kermit and Miss Piggy ran upstairs. "CALLIE! KEVIN!" they screamed, running through the house. "Where's my daughter?" Kermit asked.
