Hi, y'all!

I need help with some characters to put on the Count's master listings. I would really love descriptions of them.

My first:

That hippie who sang "Adding" with Cookie Monster. I could be wrong, but that was Big Jeffy, was that not? If so, please give me a full description of what he looked like if possible.

Thank you for all your help, and good night!

In case you can't get into the website, here's my best description. He's lavender with a little round button nose, and has wild yellow hair......and he's also wearing a brownish printed dashiki-type top.

He's also a live-hand Muppet without a tongue and with "sleepy" eyes. You might consider calling him the "Adding Hippie".

That takes care of him; who's next?

Those "sleepy eyes", I love it. I wonder if Henson's people later removed the hippie wig, put on a girl's wig (changed clothes, of course) but kept the face with those sleepy eyes for an AM girl in this "11" spot. This, of course, where the AM (Fran Brill) draws an "11" on a blackboard and shows us that it looks the same turned upside down, with the help of a camera effect turning 180 degrees.

Sounds unlikely, but not implausible. Still it's fun to think about. Could they have been brother and sister?

Thanks for telling me about that website!

My next characters:

The three tough-looking AMs that sang "Big Kids Cry" (was this the title of the song?)

Please give me your best descriptions as possible of these characters.

As Latka would say, "Tankyouveddymuch!"

The kid singing lead (voiced by Kevin Clash) was a fat blue A.M. with frizzy black hair, a pink nose, pointed down eyebrows, and a black and white horizontally-striped shirt. The other two were a short lavendar A.M. with frizzy brown hair, sleepy "angry" eyes, a blue nose, and a leather jacket, and a pointy green girl with black hair, lidless lashed eyes, angry thin eyebrows, a pink nose. I'm not sure about her clothes, though; it might have been a white t-shirt.

This group can be called "The Three Big, Crying Kids".

Thanks a heap!

My next character:

Jeffy. He was a little boy who sang "I'm Going to Get my Hair Cut" with Cookie Monster.

Please give the best description you can manage.

That was Kevin Clash, was it? I would have thought it might have sounded like him, but this skit was on an Unpaved episode circa 1982 - two years before Kevin would be credited to being on the scene. But even when he spoke it sounded like Kevin.

Maybe he was in training?
