The Count needs help!: Part III

Hi there, folks!

As you've noticed, I've been asking you guys about descriptions of obscure AM characters and such, so they can be included on the Count's master listings.

I'll kick off with the following:

The Alphabet Miners. They appeared in a News Flash segment that sponsored the letter J. One of them, so I've heard, is orange with yellow hair. This is all I can remember since I got a descript of him last week. I also hear they have names. Can you please give me descripts of each one, as well as their names?

I think they all had yellow miner's helmets and green flannel shirts. The "lead" one was orange with grey hair and a round lavendar nose. (I believe his name is Richie, but I'm not sure.) Another one was green with pink sleepy eyelids, brown fuzzy hair, and a pink nose. (His first line was an ad-lib: "Come on, Richie, get back to work, okay?")
The other two were female: one was a Fat Blue AM with black curly hair and a lavendar nose, and another was a short lavendar AM with curly black hair and a lavendar (or is it pink?) nose.
As far as names go, I'm not sure; I've got the clip, but it's dubbed in Spanish.

I would like to discuss the "Yellow Submarine" skit from 1969. I'm not sure, but this is the way Splurge tells it. Bob puts the hats or something on three AMS, making them into a driver, a train engineer, and an airline pilot. He asks them what they would want to drive and they shout "A submarine!"

Could you please describe what these three AMs looked like.

Just passing through and wanted to say hi. Gotta stay connected or else I'll pass by these threads entirely! And we wouldn't want that, not with all the great work being done by BlueAM and the rest of the forum regulars!
The Alphabet Miners will be added now, and I think I'll keep them that way unless someone can provide individual names for each. If you've got them in Spanish, then pass them along and I'll do my best to translate if possible.
Also, wanted to ask if the three AM's from the beginning of the Yellow Submarine bit aren't the same ones from "Goin' For a Ride". If so, they've already been added. But if not, then please say how the two groups differentiate between each other.
Oh, and one last question, should the Engineer from "Goin' For a Ride" be listed as "The Engineer" or as "The Train Engineer", given that the other two have the names of their vehicles in their entries?

I'd go with "The Engineer" since one of the lyrics he sings is "Gonna be an engineer".

OK then, "The Engineer" from the song '"Go9in' For a Ride" will stay in the E entries. Still missing Elmo's World: The Spider for that letter's entries though.
And here are a few questions based on the posts in these threads.
1 Should I go ahead and add "The Alphabet Miners" as a group entry? Or should I wait till getting individual names to add them as four distinct entries?
2 How do you think it would be best to add the AM's from the song "Let's Go Driving in an Automobile"? Should it be "The Family"? Should it be just the familial names of each of the four characters?
Please LMK ASAP and the appropriate entries will be added to the listing.

1. I'd list them all in a group. I'm pretty sure that "Richie" is the only name listed.
2. How about calling them "The 'Let's Go Driving' Family", and then list each family member in that category?
3. The Spider is a fat blue AM with a black body and black "hair", both with short fur and yellow spots. He has two arms and six legs (with six "stubs" for feet). His eyes are round and yellow, he has no nose, and I think he has thin white eyebrows.

They are not the same characters, since one of them was an airline pilot. I really don't know because I don't know what they looked like. Hope you guys out there could help!

1. The song is called "Let's Go Driving"; they've used it on their albums, and in at least one episode (#4031), that's what Baby Bear calls it.
2. I like "The 'Let's Go Driving' Family" better; it identifies a certain group and certain characters, rather than any generic AMs who drive a car.
