Who collected the various books based on the series? I had about 4 or 5 of them and read a couple of others elsewhere. Perhaps my favorite was The Radish Day Jubilee; its storyline seemed just like an actual episode that I could visualize, and the climax with the Gorgs comically assailing each other after they take umbridge at Mokey suggesting their "empire toppled down" at the titular ceremony but only harming each other rather than our heroes would have been great to have seen on air. Honorable mention would be for Red and the Pumpkins with its surrealistic prolonged dream sequence of pumpkins going out of control (plus the humorous bits of Boober being Boober and saying that hard round orange things are bad luck and that he knew bad things would happen in the first place). All in all it was a fairly good run.

Which books were your favorites if you had them?

I can't believe no one else has responded to this yet. I LOVE Fraggle books.

Really!

I do!

:excited:

"The Radish Day Jubilee" is indeed superb...I have most of that series, and I love how they're so well-written and and in-depth, so that they're long enough to picture as actual episodes. I have most of the Weekly Reader ones as well, and I love "Mokey and the Festival of the Bells" and "Sprocket's Christmas" as my favorite of some of the bigger FR books out there.

I'm ashamed to admit, I never knew there were Fraggle books, until I saw them on Muppet Wiki. I had no idea there had been so many!

You've got some catchin' up to do!!

And one of my favorite things about Fraggle books is how they have these cute little cave creatures in the pictures that are fun to spot.

I've got 3. I used to have more but alot were given away to younger relatives years ago. I love the ones I have, though. They are adorable.
