I have decided to try to make sock puppets again like I did when I was little to maybe make them stars in a youtube video I am planning:excited:...I know this is kind of thought of as a lesser form of puppets but I thought I might tell you about it anyway..Who knows maybe someday with practice I might get good *lol*

I am thinking of using colored socks and actual button eyes, since youtube seems a bit too full of dirty white sock puppets with black marker eyes that look like they need to washed:coy:...

I was wondering if there is any sort of tips you have about acting with classic sock puppets (giving them character)?:embarrassed:

Not sure about the acting, but I do know of a god sock puppet design which is where you make the puppets from two socks (one over the other) so that you can add some stuffing to the head-area to give it lifted eyes/etc.

It sounds like a good idea for making different size puppets if I am doing a one woman show to :excited:
