Snuffy first appeared in 1971, and the adults thought Big Bird was just imagining him as soon as Big Bird told them about him. The adults finally saw Snuffy and accepted him as real in 1985.

oh ok thank you so much that is what i thought , that snuffy was the friend , that is wonderful , i was right in my mind when i was thinking about it . cool .
