No--not me, I swear! But I became aware of this site when they asked to print one of my fan-fics.

This is a fantastic site with lots of wonderful nostalgic stuff about the frog-pig courtship. What I liked so much about this site is that it reminds me of all of the old-school muppet stuff, with updated information about our fave felts now. If you want to absolutely melt, watch Johnny Mathis sing "Never Before" while Kermit and Piggy sit and snuggle at their anniversary show!

Look, I know I can be a bore on the topic of Kermit and Piggy's relationship bliss, but I watched them meet and court and--yes!--get married. If you weren't there when it was happening I don't even know if I can describe to you how easily it was to fall in love along with them. Kermit's total befuddlement and the way he just couldn't help himself every time Piggy entered the room were the best things on television at the time. And Piggy--my oh my! Strong, sexy, tough women are all over the big and small screen now, but there weren't many back then, and Piggy was the queen of them all. Watching her transformation from "pig-in-the-chorus" to full-fledged performing diva--with her own line of calendars, cards, stationary and pin-up posters was more than terrific for women from, er, my generation (oh go ahead--do the math). Piggy took no prisoners--except Kermit's heart, and it was phenomenal to watch.

If you were there the first time around, jump back it--it's a sweet trip! If you weren't around when this was happening in real time--good news! It's not to late to jump on this particular bandwagon.

Okay, okay--I'm stepping down off the soap-box. But go and check out this blog--it's a lovely experience whether it's the first time you've watched their romance unfold, or this is old hat to you. Old hat or not--it never gets old!
