I read in the newspaper yesterday that the USA uses Sesame Street songs and Metallica to put pressure on Iraqi prisoners of war. They are forced to listen to the music night and day!
How do I become a POW? I want to be a POW too!

LOL, I heard that too. Now, I can understand using heavy metal and Barney as torture, but I wonder which SS songs they played!

Yeah, Elmo's song would make me confess anything if played all day. Heck, even if it were for 10 minutes.

Tommie,

Is this a good thing? Do they intend to use the music as torture, or not?

This kind of torture reminds me of the re-conditioning scenes in A CLOCKWORK ORANGE where they force Malcom MacDowell to watch horrfic arts of violence over and over again....
