Hi guys, here's a Muppet appearance flash! Not sure how many of you either listen to the ESPN Radio show Mike & Mike in the Morning, but they have a simulcast on ESPN News cable channel from 6-10 AM EST. Today, on Friday, like all Fridays, they had their "Stone Cold Lead Pipe Locks" segment. This is where they adopt these showman voices and make their picks on three football games each. There are various soundbites and film clips mixed into the segment. At the end of this week's picks for Week 7, there was a classic Statler and Waldorf bit.
Waldorf: "Is that it?"
Statler: "Yup, it's finished. So, what did you think?"
Waldorf: "I slept through the whole thing."
Statler: "You didn't miss much."
And that was it. Hope someone else besides me caught it. Have a great weekend.
