SST Outline - Elmo Breaks a Vase

This one takes place in Season 31.

Scene 1: Elmo visits the Fix-It-Shop and asks Maria if she can take him to the zoo. She has too much work and must wait at the shop for Mrs. O’Monster to come back to pick up her broken vase that took all week to fix. When Maria leaves, Elmo throws a tantrum and it accidentally knocks over the vase! Elmo runs away.

• Cartoon: While playing catch with her cat, a girl accidentally smash a window
• Rubber Duckie tells Ernie he want to see the letter of the day
• Animation: Z words appear on TV
• Film: Kids find a Z in the jungle

Scene 2: Maria finds the broken vase and on the sidewalk and is stunned. She asks the viewer what happened what happened. When she hears it was Elmo, she goes looking for him. Meanwhile, Elmo keeps him concealed under the arbor staircase, hoping to stay that way.

• Song: “It’s Alright to Cry”
• Rubber Duckie wants to see the Letter of the Day
• Monsterpiece Theater: One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest
• Song: “We’re Talking ‘Bout the Number One”
• Film: Wegman dogs make a 1 from logs

Scene 3: Elmo sees Maria pass by and is worried his goose is cooked.

• Cartoon: “The Mad Goat Song”
• Grover sells newspapers
• Cartoon: A man describes what you see in the newspaper

Scene 4: Maria asks Baby Bear if he’s seen Elmo and tells him of the earlier occurrence. He doesn’t know where he is and she continues her search.

• Film: A family looses their dog, so they make a “Lost Dog” poster on the computer
• Ernie introduces the next segment
• Cartoon: A boy gets lost in the mall and uses a map
• Cartoon: An alien asks a policeman for a Z to eat

Scene 5: Elmo checks to see if the coast is clear and is then found by Maria. He fesses up to his crime and admits he ran because he though Maria would be mad at him. Maria is a little mad, but is happy he was able to confess. As a reward, she takes him to the zoo, but first he must feed Dorothy…

Scene 6: Elmo comes back and he and Maria announce the sponsors; then head off for the zoo.

than was a nice outline. l liked when elmo thinks his "goose is cooked", that was great.
