BOOBER GORG, you are awesome! Thank you so much for finding such a close resemblance of Sprocket. I googled images of "sheepdogs," and found so many Sprocket lookalikes. I haven't found the 100% target, but sheepdogs are very very close to looking like Sprocket.

ERNIE81981, Great Job! How did you know it was Under the Umbrella Tree? Did you watch this incredibly wonderful puppet show?

EVERYONE ELSE: For those who doubted the possibility of a real life Sprocket, I think otherwise. If you can train a dog to interpret "sit," then you can also train a dog to intrepret the word "pliers." In Fraggle Rock, there is nothing out of the ordinary that Sprocket has done. Sprocket always barks, just like normal dogs. Sprocket walks on all four legs, just like normal dogs. Sprocket occasionally stands on two legs, just like normal dogs. Sprocker cries or whimpers when he is frightened or lonely, just like normal dogs. Sprocket licks Doc frequently, just like a normal dog would. Sprocket loves to chew, just like normal dogs. Sprocket just seems to be smarter than normal dogs, thats all. Think about it, some dogs know how to open closed doors. That is, some dogs are actually smart enough to think about twisting knobs. Also, think about how smart circus animals are. Better yet, think about how smart trained dolphins are! It's all about time and effort. As you can see from Fraggle Rock, Doc spent the vast majority of his time around Sprocket, and always gave Sprocket scientific facts about nature. Therefore, it is possible, with the right amount of training, to have a dog in the same manner that Doc had Sprocket. So, within the next few years or so, I plan to own a dog just like Sprocket. Anyway, feel free to comment!
