Since nothing really matches the wonder and excitement of that gorgeous time of year known as SPRING BREAK, it is a necessity that we type it in all caps.
So, has your SPRING BREAK happened yet? If not, when? What did you do? What are you doing?
Mine begins this Friday. You know, Good Friday. My friend is coming to stay the night on Thursday (the day we get out of school) and we're just going to mess around for a bit. The Office comes on that night, for the first time in more than a month, and, y'know, it's an hour long. Hooray! We're gonna watch some movies and stay up as late as our hearts desire.
The next day we'll be making our way to the mall/movie theater to see Grindhouse, which I've been oh so excited for for I have no idea how long. It's three hours and five minutes, you know. After that we are going to screw around the mall because that's what you do when you're seventeen and don't have school that day. It's written somewhere. I know it is.
Then we're coming back to my house again to watch even more movies and start getting excited for our school's trip to New York in three days. But before we do that we have to attend a friend's birthday party, as he will just be turning seventeen on Saturday. The party is from 4 to 11 on Saturday. I'm not sure what we'll be doing but it's not unlikely, knowing my friend, that lots of screaming and yelling will be involved.
That brings us to Sunday, which is more of a day for us to chill before New York. Naturally we will get no packing done until that night. Also, it's Easter, but because I'm not religious I will forget.
The next day we hop on the bus (old school, you see) to New York. We will probably drive for a good twelve hours or so but it will feel like one million hours, but because I own a lot of music I think that I'll live. Also I have some books to read.
I've got no idea what our teacher has in store for us for New York. I do know we're seeing four shows but besides Avenue Q, which I wormed out of her, we don't know what we're seeing. I'm excited.
Then we're there until Friday, and then we come back, and I sleep for two straight days and go back to school.
Hooray!
