I got to see Hey Cinderella! for the first time recently. I found it at the downtown branch of the library here in Vancouver in case anyone else in the area wants to see it. And I must admit that I have fallen in love with Splurge! Anyone else love Splurge? Was Splurge ever in anything other than Hey Cinderella!? I don't know why I like him. He's just big, purple and lovable.

Splurge is a neat character. He was in the special "Muppets on Puppets" in 1968, the Ed Sullivan Show and the first season of Sesame Street. He wasn't used much after 1970. It seems that Thig and Thog became the commonly used "large" monsters after Splurge.
