Sam and Friends BookAs I remember watching Sesame Street in my youth, one of the animated segments that scare me the most was Splasho the Diver. I remember two of the skits with him.
The first one was where Splasho tries to climb to the top of the ladder until he makes it. Then he dives into the water. And the last one was 'before & after'. It was where Splasho wants water into the cup from the janitor. Splasho yelling "BEFORE!" scares me before the janitor pours water into the cup.
These skits had feature scary circus music off-screen and they always had the voice off-screen shouting, "Take away, SPLASHO!"
