As I mentioned a few weeks ago,my older brother was getting married again. On the day of the wedding I was humming the score to "Somebody's Getting Married" from TMTM. But instead of singing the Swedish Chef's "Pig & Froggie Wedding" I changed it to my brother & his bride's names(Brian & Crissy)
(I didn't do this in front of them of course...they both would have had my head on a platter!)

Haha, that's fun. I love changing names in songs. And I love that scene in MTM. ^__^ How was the wedding?

Oh Mrs. P..it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! My (now) sister in law had about 7 bridesmaids but my brother had 4 ushers. So a few of us had to double up with ushers.
One faux pas though. (and you can feel free to laugh at this) The purple dye on my shoes didn't dry,but I was told to wear the shoes anyway. So during the reception I looked at the bottoms of my feet & they were purple! Kind of reminded me of that SS skit where Bert's hand was purple from paint & he had to wait for it to wear off.
My mother had dyed my shoes for both my sister & me,so of course we were teasing her afterwards. Thankfully the paint has worn off.
But anyway back to the wedding. Their wedding song was "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra. I got up & danced a few times. But I'm kind of clumsy when it comes to dancing

Awww! It sounded lovely! Too bad about your feet though. ^_^ I've had my legs turn blue from new jeans before, but purple is a different story. I'm glad you had fun.
Were the bridesmaids all wearing purple too? Must have been really pretty.

The rest of the bridesmaids live in NY whereas my sister & I are in FL. So we needed to look for shoes here.
The color of the bridesmaids' dresses were a wine color (it's called chianti) and sleeveless. And yes they were really beautiful

Sounds like a good time, Kathy. I personally haven't been to a wedding in a while now (four years since my aunt married) but yes, it is fun. Too bad about the shoes. Closest I've ever come to that was once the dye came out of a red hat of mine after Dad put it through the wash (by itself; he's a bloody fool) and it made my hair blood red for a while. I mean, my hair's already red, but this was bad!

Bad enough as it is, they thought I was some sort of headbanger! Actually, the closest I've come to that is the two Fear records I own; other than that, it's pretty much the Beach Boys and the Monkees here.

Oh, and Beau, that's great! Have fun at the wedding!

Poor Beau! A good time's a good time, but you're going to be absolutely worn out by October, trust me. My aunt and uncle are going to have their reseption in September. My brain hurts thinking about it, and it's not even a real wedding!
