can anyone tell me which episode contains "sing a song" of the Carpenters? It's an episode with a woman. or does someone have the song for me?

The Carpenters never guest starred on the Muppet Show. The song, simply titled "Sing", actually originated on Sesame Street and was covered by Mary Chapin Carpenter on one of the Carpenters' albums. She also did a cover of 'Rainbow Connection.'

i know, but that song was also in one of the muppet episodes. Where they all sing with an female singer. I saw it one time in an episode but i don't know who that woman is. It will make it much easier to find.
