Beginning today "Sid the Science Kid" debuts on the Sprout network at 3:30 pm eastern, 2:30 central. It's nice to see another Jim Henson Company show on Sprout.

If you see the show on Sprout, please post your thoughts here.

Oh god. Now Sprout is really going downhill. First, it was Super Why. Second, Sprout started airing Seasons 38 and 40 of Sesame Street, and finally, Sprout is now showing this show.

Sprout isn't supposed to cater to anyone over the age of 5. Sid's been on quite a while, and my local PBS pretty much runs it once a day, early in the morning. That's essentially the death knell slot. I wonder if the show was even renewed for another season, or if it will just quietly disappear this coming fall. I don't hear of any new PBS shows, though...
