With the popualarity of the Classic SS DVD's, I wonder if the SSU shows on Noggin might of had something to do with their popualarity and perhaps part of the reason why the SW released them? Same with The Electric Company?

Now while both shows ran on Noggin for at least 5 years. Of course there were a couple of things such as scheduling, while I remember seeing TEC shown in the daytime when I 1st got Noggin SSU I only saw late at night and from what I've read in the past Noggin wasn't carried by as many cable and sattelite companies and first and by the time they aquired more systems it was either not long after that the SS and EC episodes were gone or maybe even gone before they aquired more systems. All means that there were probably many people who didn't get a chance to have seen the older shows.

So what do you think?

It might have had somthing to do with their popularity, but the fact that they were on noggin in the forst place might have something to do wiht there popularity, too. But I think a lot of it had to do with them both being so popular to begin with in the first place!
