From Digitalspy.co.uk :
Sesame Street is to parody Mad Men in an upcoming episode, the show's producers have announced.

Speaking at the programme's press tour panel over the weekend, executive vice president Miranda Barry said that it would be in a similar vein to their previous Desperate Housewives mock-up.

"You may have seen our parody we did a fear years ago called Desperate Houseplants," she said. "Which was a perfect translation of a houseplant that wasn’t getting its needs met by the gardener who was not watering it."

The show's vice president of education and research Dr. Romsemarie Truglio added: "Sesame Street has always been written on two levels. And the children don’t understand these parodies, but the adult does.

"Think about the title Mad Men and think about the emotional curriculum that might be linked to that."

Sesame Street celebrates its 40th anniversary in November.

I guarantee this parody will be about emotions with Sad Men, Mad Men and Glad Men.
