Sesame Street Season 56 Volume 2 to debut on Netflix and PBS beginning March 9, 2026

The second volume of Sesame Street Season 56 will debut on Netflix on Monday, March 9. The four new episodes will also air on PBS from Monday, March 9, through Friday, March 13, 2026. Episodes 5605-5608 will premiere on both platforms.

A third volume of episodes will also debut later in 2026.

Kinda unrelated but does anyone wonder why Netflix hasn't added anything other than the new season yet? Not that I care that much since I'm only really paying attention to the classic episodes that are being uploaded to YouTube, but they literally announced they would be streaming over 100 other episodes alongside the new season. Did they straight up just lie? lol

They could just be preparing whatever season Netflix wants to add. That or they're waiting for the Fall 2026-27 season
