Episode 2888 - Rosita's First Day on Sesame Street
HBO Max Premiere: Wednesday May 27, 2020
Maria and Big Bird meet famous N-TV Hostess Nora Nicks! Prairie Dawn asks Savion Glover why he wears his hat to the side instead of the bill in front. Savion explains that he likes it that way, so she decides to wear her hair over her eyes and her dress backwards. Mr. Handford meets a new little monster named Rosita La Monstra de las Cuevas. When a Grandma enters Hooper's store wanting to call her granddaughter, Rosita shows how she hugs and kisses her grandmother. When the Grandma mentions calling her niece and friend, Rosita shows how she dances with her aunt and jumps with her friend. Later, Rosita meets Prairie who struggles to pronounce Rosita's full name. Rosita is distracted by Prairie's backwards dress. They go to Hooper's store where Mr. Hanford makes them several Hispanic meals.
