Episode 2746 - Grouch Appreciation Day
HBO Max Premiere: Wednesday May 27, 2020
Telly tells his friends today is Grouch Appreciation Day. He wants to do something special for Oscar! They plan to throw a surprise party, even though he insists he does not want one. Telly tells him there is no party, but Oscar is suspicious. He finds Maria, Telly, and Gina planning to make his favorite food with ice cream and halibut in a hat but they quickly disguise it as a game of One of These Things. Oscar tries to leave Sesame Street, but his sloppy jalopy won't start. Luis and Maria say not to go to Big Bird's nest. Of course, Oscar and his friend Bruno go to Big Bird's nest expecting to see the party but find it empty! Oscar is sad that his friends did not plan anything. Just then, they all jump out and surprise him with a fancy dinner party with annoying noises and a gag gift.
