Episode 2029 - Big Bird Stays Up Late
HBO Max Premiere: Wednesday May 27, 2020
Oscar shows Gordon how Slimey uses a computer to program music and then he tap dances to it. Snuffleupagus walks through Sesame Street but everyone is too busy to notice him. He wishes people would see him so he would not be so lonely. Big Bird and the kids approach Snuffy, and they all go to play in the park! Maria, Bob and the kids talk with Sally Ride about being an astronaut and what it is like in space. Luis, Gordon, and Susan stay up to watch the night sky, when Big Bird asks to join them. The adults teach Big Bird about shooting stars and the phases of the moon. Big Bird and Susan see lights on in the windows down the block and count who is still awake. When the lights in their apartments turn off, Big Bird decides it is time for him and Radar to finally go to his nest to sleep.
