Episode 1319 - An Island Picnic in Puerto Rico
HBO Max Premiere: Wednesday May 27, 2020
The Grouches float on a raft to a private island to escape everyone's happiness, but everyone else shows up for a picnic! Maria sings about how nice it is to be home as she walks around the island and sees the scenery and her family. Oscar goes fishing and hopes to catch a tire, but he catches a fish and throws it back! Back at the picnic, Maria's Tio Alberto and his friends play instruments and sing while everyone dances along! Big Bird writes a postcard to Snuffleupagus to tell him all about Puerto Rico, but his handwriting is too big to fit his activities on the postcard! Later, Big Bird borrows a boat and visits Bird Island. He sees herons and a pelican. Even though Big Bird wishes he could fly like the other birds and stay on Bird Island, he returns to stay with Maria and her family.
