Episode 1316 - Maria's Birthday in Puerto Rico
HBO Max Premiere: Wednesday May 27, 2020
Maria and Olivia go to Maria's hometown, Puerto Rico, to celebrate her birthday! Once they head to the airport, Big Bird, Bob, David, Linda, and Susan travel to Puerto Rico to surprise her! Oscar tags along after mishearing "trip" as "trick". Maria's family greets Maria and Olivia and overwhelms them with their enthusiasm. Maria wishes everyone from Sesame Street could be there. While out on a walk, she thinks she sees her Sesame Street friends. Oscar meets a Puerto Rican grouch Osvaldo, and they go for a stroll in the morning rain. While setting up for the party, Maria runs inside and tries to call David, but nobody answers. Meanwhile, her friends sneak into the party to surprise her. Maria is very surprised and happy to see her friends! Everyone celebrates with music, cake, and dancing!1979 | 1 HR
