Anyone miss the good old days when monster muppets on Sesame Street has those "floppy" fingers? Me too, why don't any of the monsters have those fun fingers anymore? They made them so unique. Why are the monsters full-bodied muppets (except for live arm muppets)?

Actually, quite a few live-hand puppets have legs: Telly, Rosita, and more recently Herry and Cookie all have a pair of legs. (But Telly is the only puppet I know of to have two versions of him; one is legless and used for most of his scenes, and another is built similarly to Baby Bear or Ernie. They also have two Rosita doubles, but use them less frequently.)
