I didn't know where else to put this post, so I'd thought I'd try here.

I work in customer service for credit cards and up until today, I thought I had seen everything.

Then today, a call comes in and the person lives in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

The name of the street? Sesame Street.

I'm not kidding.

I didn't even know FLORIDA had a street named Sesame. Can you imagine living there??? What would it be like to put it down as your return address?

I think it would be cool.. especially if the house number was 123. ( in this case it was something else)

Is there a Sesame Street in your state??

Impossible.

Just checked - the house numbers for SESAME STREET in PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL are from 5000 to 5069.

No 123 Sesame Street. :frown:

Yeah.. it was a pretty high number..

It's just the idea of it...

I don't think anyone would believe you if you told them, such as asking for a car loan.

Bank Teller: And your address please?

Me: 123 Sesame Street.

Bank Teller: Do you want this loan or not? I need your real address please.

Me: That is my address. 123 Sesame Street.

Bank Teller: And I bet your roommate is the Cookie Monster. Come back when you want to give us your real address.

Hello?

Evening, I'd like you to deliver a pizza.

Where to, luv?

123 Sesame Street

*laughter*

No seriously.

Sure, luv, with or without 'bird' seed? And do ya want it 'Count'ed and lightning roast, or plain? One or yourself, one for Ernie adn one for Bert. Huh? Go play with someone else's time.

I cracked up when I saw this.. that's exactly the idea. I wish I could go and visit Palm Beach Gardens just to get a pic of the street sign. (Heck I'd probably TAKE the street sign...lol)

Well if you ever did visit said street, I'd make sure to get directions off the internet first. It'll save you some embarrassment from having to ask directions personally. "Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?"

Voi: Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?

Man: Yeah, turn right at the fork in the road, and bear left.

Voi: Fer sure!

I'm glad you asked about that because there is indeed a Sesame Street nearby my University. What's even stranger is that there's all this crime and vandalism that happens on that Sesame Street. Go figure.
