Sesame Street clip used on early 1980s SNL

In the early 1980s there was a news story on "Weekend Update" (though IIRC it was called "SNL Newsbreak" at the time) about an assassination attempt against Big Bird which supposedly happened during a Sesame Street Live performance. (It was just a sketch, everyone was okay.)

During the bit they had some brief video footage from a live stage show with the adult cast of Sesame Street appearing to try and calm the crowd down. Can anyone tell me where that footage came from?
