They finally posted an episode that has never been released before! Episode 1622.

Given the timing of the release due to the current weather conditions... I was HONESTLY quite surprised SW actually went through with releasing a non-home media episode! Let alone WITH the inclusion of
Bill Cosby

After Cosby's not guilty verdict a few years back, his appearances are allowed to be shown again. It's likely possible that whenever a celebrity is in court, whether as a plaintiff or a defendant, his or her appearances on TV are banned from broadcast until the litigation is cleared.

Here's hoping that more episodes from the January 1982 snow arc period get released soon. This is a step in the right direction for sure.

Also, it appears that not only is the Bill Cosby segment kept intact, but all of the segments from the original broadcast were kept intact as well. However, the only thing that was edited out was the PBS funding credits with the "Funky Chimes" background music. There was no Friday credit sequence added at the end.
