Sesame Street Bathtime Fun

Enjoy this script, which I think would make a good Sesame Street video.

(the title sequence shows an animated bathtub, with a bubble that has the title inside the bubble. Big Bird's voice can be heard, saying "Sesame Street Bathtime Fun")

(the scene begins with Abby Cadabby on the street, at the arbor area. She looks a bit dirty.)
Abby Cadabby: Hello, welcome to Sesame Street! I am your friend, Abby Cadabby. I've been playing all day. (notices that she is dirty) Oh, but now I am a mess! Oh, well, it's time for me to use my special cleanning wand. (takes out her magical cleanning wand) And now, I will wave my wand and say the magic words, and I will be sparkling clean. Dirt, grease, and mud! Splash and bubbles! Get this dirt off me rubbles! (instead of working, her wand suddenly explodes) Oh, no! What has happened to my wand!
(Elmo, Zoe, and Big Bird show up)
Big Bird: Oh, what was that I heard?
Elmo: Elmo heard a scarry sound.
Zoe: What just happened?
Abby Cadabby: Oh, no. I am dirty, and my special cleanning wand blew up! Oh, now how will I get cleaned up?
Big Bird: Why don't you just take a bath?
Zoe: Yeah!
Abby Cadabby: (nervous) A b-b-bath... ?
All: Yeah!
Abby Cadabby: w-w-with water and soap and shampoo?
Elmo: Yeah!
Abby Cadabby: i-I'm scarred of baths... (shivers)
Big Bird: Scarred of baths?
Elmo: Then you could just take a shower.
Abby Cadabby: A shower? That water would just hit me! I've been getting myself cleaned with my special cleanning wand for as long as I can remember!
Elmo: Bath's aren't scarry.
Zoe: No, they're not!
Big Bird: Why, batsh can be fun.
Elmo: Yeah, fun, like a party!
Abby Cadabby: A party?
Elmo: Yeah, just ask Ernie!

(screen slides to the song "Do De Rubber Duck", and when the song is over, the scene slides back to the new footage)
Abby Cadabby: Oh, that sounds like fun. But with all those people in the tub, I could get stepped on!
(Maria comes by)
Maria: Hola.
Zoe: Hi, Maria.
Maria: Something looks wrong.
Abby Cadabby: My special cleanning wand broke. Now I can't get clean without taking a bath!
Maria: Then take a bath!
Abby Cadabby: But I'm scarred of baths. Can you fix my wand?
Maria: I'll see what I cna do (takes wand), but you really should consider taking baths.
Abby Caddaby: Oh, no, no, no, no..... I don't even know how to take one!
Big Bird: Grover could teach you!

(scene fades to the skit where Grover gives bathtime tips, followed by "Bubble on my Snuffle")

Abby Caddaby: Hmm... I might drown in the bathtub.
Elmo: Oh, you won't drown.
Zoe: And you could bring some bath toys to the tub with you!
Abby Cadabby: You can play with toys in the tub?
Elmo: Of course!
Big Bird: You really shouldn't take a bath without toys!

(cut to the skit where Bert tries to give Brad a bath, followed by Little Richard's version of Rubber Duckie, and then Solomon Gurndy)

Abby Cadabby: Hmm, maybe taking a bath won't be so scarry after all.
Big Bird: That's the spirit!
Abby Cadabby: I'm going to go home and take a bath right now!
(Abby leaves)
Zoe: Well, there goes one brave fairy.

(a bubble appears, dissolving to "The Bathtub of Seville")

(Abby is now in the bathtub, washing herself)
Abby Cadabby: Well, here I am, in the bathtub. And you know, it isn't as scarry as I thought it would be. (rubs some soap on herself) Oh, yeah, this is good. I'm gettign cleaner! I never needed my wand after all. That's so magic!

(cut to "Splish Splash")

(Abby comes back to the street)
Abby Cadabby: Well, I'm clean again!
Zoe: Oh, how was your bath?
Abby Cadabby: It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be.
Zoe: Great!
Abby Cadabby: In fact, it wasn't scarry at all!
Elmo: That's good!
(Maria comes by)
Maria: Well, I've fixed your wand.
Abby Cadabby: Oh, keep it! I don't need it anymore! I am no longer afraid to take baths!
Maria: Oh, well I am so proud of you, Abby.
Abby Cadabby: I am going to take another bath now. (leaves)
(scene fades to the Elmo's World sketch about bathtime)
