Ernie: It is too! I wanted to do this after our 1980s show, but...
(Ernie and Bert notice that the viewer is watching)
Bert: Oh, hello!
Ernie: I'm Ernie, and he's Bert.
Bert: And this is the show where we play the best music from the 1990s.
Ernie: That's right. Just call 555-1234 to make a request.
(a ringing sound is made)
Ernie: I'll get that.
(Ernie presses a button, and Elmo appears in a circle shown in the right left corner)
Elmo: Hello, Ernie! Hello, Bert!
Bert: Hello, Elmo!
Elmo: Can you play a song about tickling?
Ernie: Of course we can.
Bert: But why would we want to?
Ernie: Uh, ignoring that, ladies and gentlemen, here is "You Tickle Me">
Elmo: Yaaaaayyyyyy!!!!
The bottom left corner of the screen turns like a book page, leading to You Tickle Me)
Ernie: Wasn't that a great song, Bert?
Bert: I didn't really like it.
Ernie: (noticing that they are back on the air) Oh, welcome back! We will now take our next request.
(Zoe appears in a circle)
Zoe: Hello, Ernie!
Ernie: Hi, Zoe.
Bert: (sighs) Hello, Zoe.
Zoe: Can you play a song with my hero, Suzie Kabloozy?
Ernie: Yes, we can.
(Bert sighs)
(the screen scrolls to the left, leading to Somebody Come and Play with Suzie Kabloozie)

(Big Bird appears in a circle)
Big Bird: Hello, can you play "I'm a Little Airplane"?
Bert: Sure thing.
Big Bird: Oh good. I like pretending that I can fly.
(the circle moves around a bit, eventually zooming to the screen and leading to I'm a Little Airplane, followed by Big Bird Doesn't Fly)
Ernie: Okay, next caller, you're on the air.
Orange Martian: Yip yip yip yip....
Purple Martian: Uh-huh! Uh-huh!
Ernie: Uh, what song to you want to hear?
Bert: Or what do you want to hear a song about?
Martians: Moon! Yip-yip-yip....
Ernie: They want to hear a song about the moon.
Bert: Well then here is one now!
(scene fades to I Don't Want to Live on the Moon with Ernie and Aaron Neville, followed by In Your Imagination)
Bert: And now, apopular request, The Alphabet Song!
(scene fades to The Alphabet Song with various celebrities, followed by Soul O)
The Count: Hello, Bert and Ernie.
Bert: Hi, Count.
The Count: I would like to hear a song about the number nine.
Bert: Okay, Count.
Ernie: Here it is.
(bottom left corner turns like a page, leading to How Many Sheep Will Jump Over My Bed?, followed by What is Friend? and I Can Sing When You Sing)
Cookie Monster: Hello!
Ernie: Hi, Cookie.
Cookie Monster: Me want to hear a song about COO-KIES!!!
Bert: (sarcastically) What a surprise...
Ernie: Well, you get your song.
Cookie Monster: Good! (starts eating his phone)
(scene fades to the season 30 version of C is For Cookie, followed by Things That I Remember, and Bubble on my Snuffle)
Herry Monster: Hello, Ernie.
Ernie: Hello, Herry.
Herry: I would like to hear some songs about some furry, happy monsters.
Ernie: Okay, and by a startling coincidence we just happen to have a song with that title.
Herry: Great!
(circle flips to Furry Happy Monsters before zooming to the screen. The song then flips to I Like Laughing When I'm Happy Best of All)
Bert: And now, we have a special technique where our system magically presents songs on ts own. Let's let the system choose our songs!
(screen flips to Just Happy to be Me, followed by I'm Gonna Write Myself a Letter, I've Gotta Be Clean, Elbows and Knees, Just Throw it My Way, and the 1990s version of Up and Down)
Ernie: Well, our time is almost up, but we have a bit of time left for one more request.
Bert: That's right. Just one more.
Ernie: So make a request or don't.
Bert: Make one before it's too late!
(Bert and Ernie sit there, waiting for the phone to ring, but nothing happens for nearly 20 seconds)
Bert: Any time now.
(they wait for a few more seconds)
Bert: Well, it doens't look like we're going to get anymore requests, so until next t-....
(the phone rings, interrupting him)
Ernie: (pressing button) Hello, this is the Sesame Street 1990s Music Show. You're on the air!
(Grover appears in the circle)
Grover: Hello, there! I have been wathcing your show...
Bert: I thought people could only listen.
Ernie: I thought they could only read it.
Grover: ...And I would like to request Monster in the Mirror.
Ernie: Ah, saving the best for last, eh?
Bert: Here is Monster in the Mirror!
(scene cuts to Monster in the Mirror, the celebrity version)
Ernie: Well, that's all the time we have for today!
(phone rings)
Bert: Don't answer that, Ernie!
Ernie: Oh. Well, see you later!
(credits roll)
