Anyone ever hear of this? I am looking for a program that used to play in the local museum with the Sesame Street display. The program's name is: A Walking Tour of Sesame Street with James Earl Jones. It was made when Sesame Street was 10 years old and I really miss it. I have no idea if it was ever released on video or TV- it may have just been put out for the museum display. I've written to CTW but have not gotten a response yet. Any information on this would be helpful.

I found it!
It took awhile but I got in touch with Sesame workshop and they are sending it to me. I am really excited because I didn't think I would be able to get it. Just wanted to tell everyone that it was resolved.

Moderator, could you move this to the sesame forum so the sesame fans can see it? Thank you

Really? Are you serious? What did you tell them? How much are they charging?

It took them some time to find it because I guess it is a little obscure, but it was there in the collection somewhere. They asked 14 dollars for it and they are supposed to send it soon. I don't know how good the quality will be. They wouldn't convert it to DVD because I asked for it for personal use and not in association with any institution where it would be played repeatedly. They were pretty helpful once I got in touch with the right department. It took awhile to find out who to talk to though.

They told me that they're not allowed to send out tapes of old shows.

Well, MAYBE they can do something like that, but for some reason, they can't release entire episodes.

Personally, I think there should be a DVD collection of every SS episode ever made! Why not?
