I've heard that those "Sesame Songs" videos (Sing Yourself Silly, Rock & Roll, Monster Hits, etc.) came with small collectible posters. These posters had the lyrics to almost all the songs on each video and drawings of the characters associated with them. I've only seen the Sing Yourself Silly one, but does anyone else know about these?

Feel free to talk about them if you can, and thanks for your responses!

I've got ones from:

Sing Yourself Silly!
Rock & Roll!
Dance Along!
We All Sing Together

I'm hoping that I can collect more from others.

I really LOVE Rock & Roll!

So, could you please tell me what songs are on the poster and what characters are on it?

I'd also like to know what the drawings on them are like, so could you please either describe them or scan them in so I can look at them?

Thanks, and have a good night!

Here they are. All of them are mainly watercolors by Tom Leigh:

Monster In the Mirror featured:
--the framed picture (for some reason, the monsters are blue and purple)
--Grover waving to his scary image

Telephone Rock:
--Little Jerry talking on the phone
--The Monotones's heads
--The telephone operator

You're Alive:
--Chrissy playing the piano
--pictures of a rock, telephone, slice of bread, a clock, a horse's head, and a rabbit's head

Rock 'N' Roll Readers:
--the heads of Chrissy, green Alphabeat, Telly, and Librarian reading a book

Hip to Be a Square:;
--Red Square and his different-shaped friends

Count Up to Nine:
--the Count and his bat-shaped nickelodeon, with a few bats around it

Forty Blocks from My Home:
--"Farley" (that's what he's called, but it's not the green version) on the bus, with a numbered sign above his head)
--various numbered signs

(I Can't Get No) Cooperation:
--Mick Swagger singing in a microphone
--the Cobble Stones playing their instrumetns

Hand TalK:
--Big Bird waving his hands

The Word is No:
--Bert and Ernie behind the brick wall, with a red "No" behind them.
--I think there were a few other "No"'s too.

Aside from these there's a bunch of musical notes all over the poster.

Wubba wubba wubba!

Nicely done, my friend!

Is there any way you could scan just the images in, please? It would be a very good help if you could!

Thanks for all your help, and have a good night!

In Rock "n" Roll, whatever happened to Little Jerry and the Monotones?

On the video, Jackman Wolf (a Muppet DJ) said that the band would appear on their show, but throughout the program they didn't show up (based on what happened in the clip; them being carted off by the police). At the end of the show, they arrive and sing their song (basically a loop of the last portion of their song).

Anyway, Muppet Dude, since the descripts of the poster drawings sound good, do you think you should trade that poster for something else? Can't think of what...

Sorry, but it's not up for trade. But if there's anybody who has posters and don't really care about having them, I'll gladly trade for them. :halo:
