Sesame Easter Merchandise 2008

The Easter stuff is already in stock, and you'll be delighted to see some nice Sesame street stuff if you go to Target (unrelated to the dollar section products, which is another thread entirely).

So far I've seen egg coloring kits (featuring Abby on the package) and a few plush. There are small, single plushes (where the characters have bunny ears) and a 4 plush collection featuring Elmo, Cookie, Ernie and Oscar.

If the merchandisers are going to sell Sesame characters with rabbit ears, it's a shame they didn't bring any of the actual rabbit characters from the show out of retirement just for the holiday (like Benny, Preston, Captain Vegetable, and the hare that Kermit interviewed).

Considering they don't even have a Grover, I wouldn't be surprised they didn't have such obscure characters.
