I know this might belong to the Sesame Street thread; But I've been posting technical questions that "fans" over there cannot answer or simply they find them silly.
Anyway...
I've been watching the new Sesame Beginnings dvd's and technically they look breathtaking.
As a puppeteer, is almost inevitable to look out for technical details.
Like for example, I've been noticing that ever since The Book Of Pooh aired, green screen puppeteering is the way to do things today.
Are the backgrounds used in SB real? Are they computer generated images or are they miniatures?
It's common for the Henson shop to sometimes use outside studios to create puppets for their productions. I've met a few very talented freelance artists here in the forum whose work is amazing and work for them.
Curiously enough, I was making a Yahoo search for 'Baby Big Bird" last month and found out that the Baby puppet was made by www.atelierdesgriffons.com. If you go there now, you'll notice that the webpage is down, but if you do a Yahho search like I explained before, you'll find several pictures of the puppet.
What was interesting is that they had a few pics of the puppet in different perspective shots. Too bad is gone now.
