Even though the Muppets on Sam and Friends were all just abstracts, what was each one suppose to represent?

And can anybody give me some info on Professor Madcliffe,Moldy Hay, Mushmellon, Icky Gunk,Hank or Frank, Henrietta, and Chicken Liver? :concern:

Well, they weren't really supposed to represent anything (except for maybe Sam, who looks like a human). That's why they were abstract.

And as for info on the characters, there's not a lot out there. I'd suggest taking out the book Jim Henson: The Works from your library. There's a nice picture of them in there. Oh, and if they don't have it, I'm sure they'll be able to get it on loan from another library.

I saw a bunch of episodes in the Museum of Television and Radio in New York, and the characters really aren't characters with personalities... Most of the times, Kermit's the main character, Yorick likes to eat things and Harry's a hipster. But mostly the puppets got used for any possible role they fit in, just like Anything Muppets. Yorick could be a bad guy cowboy or an Igor-like assistant to Theodore. Harry could be a woman or a TV show host. Hank and Frank played Huntley and Brinkley in a classic sketch.
