Whether you remember him best for his episode of The Muppet Show or his Disneyland appearances, the world lost a comedy legend on Friday with the passing of Wally Boag.

Wally logged 40,000 live performances as Pecos Bill in the Golden Horseshoe cafe show at Disneyland, and also recorded the voice of Jose' the parrot for the Enchanted Tiki Room. Fellow Muppet Show guest star Steve Martin, who worked at Disneyland when he was just a kid, has often cited Boag as his biggest influence, and someone he aspired to be.

Ironically, Wally's longtime GH costar Betty Taylor (Sluefoot Sue), passed away the very next day, on Saturday.
