even thought it's hot in dallas texas, i still run about 6 miles every night and it only take me about 55 minutes or so. it's probably still 90 degrees by 9 o'clock when the sun is going down and i still manage to run that many miles. and my face is burning up after a while. i even force my self only to take 2 breaks that last a minute or so a piece.

talk about how crazy i am, no one else even attempts that. although i see some people run like at 2 in the afternoon when it's 100 degrees outside, but i don't think they run 6 miles....

just thought i'd share that...

....I run about three miles in the morning, three times a week. Used to be more, but full-time school, full-time work, full-time daddy kinda cuts down on it.

I try to walk 2 to 4 mlies a day but my flip flops give me blisters when they don't rub all of the skin off. Same prob goes for jump roping, plus it makes my legs throb sometimes.

That's really good. I wish I had your consistency, Ryan. Running is long-time passion of mine and it's always great to hear others enjoy it. Keep it up!!

I've just started getting back into regular running after being fairly sporadic with it over the past year (I ran competitively in H.S. and college). Right now, I'm only doing 20 miles per week, but I'm hoping to run a marathon in the spring or summer. Now, if only I can make more time for it...

i don't know if i could do a marathon! that's 26 miles. well i guess i could. i mean i can go 10 to 12 miles without stopping and without being tired. i actually started running 5 years ago to loose some weight and since then i've lost it and more. now i just continue to run because if i can sit around all day long, then i can go run for an hour!

i actually want to try the ironman triathlon someday. if you don't know what that is, it's about 132 miles that has 26 miles of running , about 3 miles of swimming, and 103 miles of riding a bike...now thats tough.

wanted to update this thread since how new years is coming up and people tend to gain the most weight during the holidays.

yes, i'm back home for the holidays but still running 6/7 miles a day, either in morning or at night.

anybody else still keeping in shape during the holidays?

I don't ever run. I can't afford to lose the weight. I can't gain weight for anything, but I can lose it very easily. I'm 18 and about 5'10 and I'm lucky if I'm 120 pounds. I eat junk food all the time and fatty foods but it doesn't help me gain weight, so yea, it sucks.
