(Rowlf is sitting behind a desk in a radio station)

Rowlf: Hello, I'm Rowlf the Dog! And this is The Muppet Show Music request Show. Tonight, I will be taking requests for songs from the first season. First, here is our number one most requested song, surveyed by 27 people. It's the song that's in almost every compilation, anniversary special, documentary, and album. It's been played to death, and now we'll play it even more to death. Here is Mahna Mahna!

(cut to the Mahna Mahna clip)

Rowlf: Now, wasn't that great, if not overplayed? But now here are two of my hits!

(cuts to You and I and George, and May You Always)

Rowlf: and now I will take some requests by phone.
Fozzie Bear: Hello, Rowlf!
Rowlf: Hi, Fozzie!
Fozzie: Will you play two of my favorite songs, "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose it's Flavor on The bedpost Overnight? and To Morrow?)
Rowlf: Okay, here are those clips now!

(cuts to the two requested clips)

Sam the Eagle: Hello, Rowlf.

Sam the Eagle: I would like to request that you play some of Wayne and Wanda's hits.
Rowlf: Sure! Here are some of wayne and wanda's, uh, hits?

(cuts to Trees, Some Enchanted Evening, and Row, Row, Row)

Rowlf: All right, who's making the next call?

Rowlf: Oh, hi, Kermit.
Kermit: I would like to request a few songs from some guest stars, namely Candace Bergens "You've Gotta Have Friends", Leena Horne's "Sing", and Charles Aznavours "Inchworm".
Rowlf: You got it.

(cut to those clips)

Rolwlf: Okay, I am taking the next call now.

Rowlf: Oh, that's different.

(cut to Sax and Violence)

George the Janitor: Hey, Rowlf!
Rowlf: What?
George the janitor: I would like you to play The Raggmopps.

I love it all the way. I think you should of did the song "To Morrow" song at the end. As in a joke. Like Fozzie comes in at the last minute at the "Muppet Radio" and says:

Fozzie Bear: *huffing and puffing* Rowlf...(takes a breath).... you never played any of...(takes another breath)....my request!"
Rowlf: But you said "Will you play two of my favorite songs, "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose it's Flavor on The bedpost Overnight tomorrow."
Fozzie Bear: No I didn't say that. I meant the song "To Morrow."
Rowlf: Oh sorry about that. Here are the last two last song of the request of the day."

(Cut to "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose it's Flavor on The bedpost Overnight" and "To Morrow")

Also what would be fun is Fozzie tries again and again to get through the line all throught the whole show or speical. And finally he goes down there. That would be funny to see this. I would pay for it.

That would have been good, though I think Rowlf would be too smart to misunderstand what Fozzie was saying in that situation. I think a joke like that would have worked better if the DJ was Fozzie, Gonzo, or maybe Scooter, Bunsen, or janice. Then again, the DJ of the Sesame Street video Rock & Roll!, Jackman Wolf, seemed to be just as smart as Rowlf, and he mistook Oscar's request of the song "The Word is No" as an answer to whetehr he had a request.

By the way, whenever somebody calls Rowlf, I pictured a split screen so that the viewers could see the caller, and Rowlf can see the other screen. Most muppets had phones up to their ears, but if any of my future radio request shows have two callers at once, picture them on a speaker phone.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to get Rowlf ready for the season two request show.

You should have guest speakers on your show!
I have thought about that. There are some characters I have wanted to include (The Swedish Chef, The Newsman), but I can't think of any songs that they would probably like. I have also wanted to include Dr. Teeth, but I've been debating over whether to have him interract with Rowlf since they sound the same (it might be weird to listen in my head a conversation between them).

Maybe not have them make requests but maybe interview them instead...like a lot of radio stations do.
