RIP Phil Donahue

He passed away yesterday at 88. I'm glad he had a good full life I'll always remember him from the put down the duckie special that first aired when I was a little kid

He also appeared in the landmark Sesame Street episode where Mr. Snuffleupagus was finally revealed to the adults. Phil stopped by to retrieve a toaster that Luis was having fixed, and sang a song about the word "food", as that was Big Birds cue to the adults to meet Snuffy. Phil hugs Snuffy toward the end of the episode.
