RIP Karl Malden

I am deply saddened by this. I grew up with his Reverend Ford in "Pollyanna", then as I grew an interest in musical theater, I was exposed to his flawless Herbie in the film version of "Gypsy".

To be honest, I didn't know anything about him except for a line of a song called Godzilla Geneaology Bop from MST3K.

Was he the priest in Pollyanna? I saw that movie a lot as a kid. But at least he lived a full life

Also, RIP Mollie Sugden. She was awesome!

What really impressed me when I heard about his passing on the news was that he was married to his wife for 70 years. That's wonderful. It seemed like he lived a good life.

I know he was like 97, but this is really sad.

I do remember him from Pollyanna, a very strong, heartfelt performance. Really ralling at people at Church and then having the change of heart and all.

It's sad when so many of the old school stars disapear, they really don't train actors to reach their stature anymore.
