Holy cow! I was just watching the "Molly Smiles" bit from Uptown Girls last night (not into chick-flicks mind you, but I did kinda like that song). What a shock!

This is genuinely sad and shocking news. She was a great and endearing actress and sexy as ****! My thoughts go out to her family.

I know this will be in the news all week long. A heart attack at 32 usually has to do with poor diet, a preexisting health condition or abuse of narcotics. She seemed like a troubled person in recent reports, but she was also a very talented actress of stage and screen. I do hope they focus on that.

Wow, this is definitely unexpected - you just wouldn't guess something like that from someone so young! Wow. So sad. Tragic almost.

I didn't want to say anything, but as I read up about it, the first thing that came to my mind was "accidental" overdose, like... well, most celebrities anymore.

That's so sad,.

Man 2009 has been awful, can't wait for this year to be over with.

Brittany Murphy was a very talented actor. I think I'll probably remember her well as the voice of Luanne Platter on King of the Hill.

When you look over the course of 2009, we lost a lot of special people. Within the last week or so we lost Brittany Murphy, Alaina Reed Hall and Roy E. Disney. It makes me wish humans were immortal, and re-examine my own mortality. May all we lost rest in peace.

If all humans were immortal, this world would be overcrowded. Think about that.

R.I.P. Bobby Hill, Luanne Platter, and young Joseph Gribble.
