Didn't I see Richard Hunt playing a real live phone guy in a couple of SS episodes in the early 80's? The first time, when he came in an interrupted Maria's work to show her the new phone booth installed in the street.

And another time when Richard was going to install a wall phone on Big Bird's post. Big Bird couldn't decide whether he wanted it above or below the birdhouse. And he was driving Richard a little crazy. Then Big Bird decided he wanted the phone installed where the birdhouse was, then he had a hard time deciding where he wanted the birdhouse and put poor Richard through that ordeal again.

I'm guessing that person was Richard.
