Even though street scenes on Sesame are usually considered to be sacred and unable to be aired after one or two runs, I have actually seen some street segments that were occasionally repeated several seasons down the line. One of them is a street scene where David gets Big Bird and the kids together to play an "Animal Guessing Game". This segment was shown a few times in the 80's, but it is easy to tell that it was from the 70's because David is very thin and has sideburns. They also showed an earlier clip of David singing to the kids in the street about life on his Grandmother's farm. David was still rather thin in this clip, but it was shown in the middle of an episode where he had an enormous amount of weight. Another street clip that was often replayed was Don Music moving a piano into Hooper's store while David is there. It seems like street skits with David got replayed the most often, but there were probably others. It seems like the rules were that the character had to still be on the show and it had to be a street segment that could stand on its own.
